About NAMSACCO

NAMSACCO was registered on 10 April 2018 as a Savings and Credit Co-operative under the Co-operatives Act of 1996. Membership is voluntary and open to public servants from government offices, ministries, agencies and regional councils.

Loan Products

Development Loans

Up to 3 times savings.
15% per annum.
Maximum repayment period of 60 months.
Land, livestock, buildings and vehicles.

School Fees Loans

Schools, colleges and universities.
12 months repayment period.
Supporting documents required.

Emergency Loans

Medical expenses.
Funeral expenses.
Fire disasters.
Approved within two working days.
Maximum amount N$20,000.

Shares & Savings

Minimum share capital consists of 100 shares valued at N$20 each.

Savings

Minimum monthly savings contribution is N$200. Members may save above the minimum.

Loan Qualifications

Minimum membership period of six months.
Regular monthly contributions.
Loans shall not exceed three times savings.
Repayment ability supported by payslip.
Net salary must not be below N$1,200.

Regulation & Governance

Public Servants SACCO is regulated under the Co-operatives Act of 1996 by the Registrar of Co-operatives. The Supervisory Committee ensures compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
