NAMSACCO was registered on 10 April 2018 as a Savings and Credit Co-operative under the Co-operatives Act of 1996. Membership is voluntary and open to public servants from government offices, ministries, agencies and regional councils.
Minimum share capital consists of 100 shares valued at N$20 each.
Minimum monthly savings contribution is N$200. Members may save above the minimum.
Public Servants SACCO is regulated under the Co-operatives Act of 1996 by the Registrar of Co-operatives. The Supervisory Committee ensures compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.
